The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

I have to walk between buildings and I am just back from picking up a delivery from Amazon.

I did get pretty sweaty!

The same thing will happen when I leave to go the the parking lot. I parked in the closer more expensive lot today so it will only be about 750 steps to get there. The other lot is a bit over 1000 steps away.
I'm sweating more now days. Us older folks are on medications that can cause this. Maybe one of yours? Or is it because the weather is hot enough to cook an egg on the sidewalk? I found out the hard way that my meds are affecting me. :(

Took my Gracie to the vet. He spent quite a bit of time with her and me. We know the teeth are bad. Wondering is she's shaking because of a bad tooth. Or two. They're bad, and I take her in every year for cleaning. She's just old. He's pulled 4 from her already. Now he asks if I'm sure I want to have them cleaned considering all that she has going on. Another something he added this time, he's detecting a heart murmur. I told him that I couldn't imagine living with a mouth full of pain. He says, I'm not going to talk you out of it. I told him whatever happens. I have a sister that lost an older dog during teeth cleaning. If you could see her teeth you would certainly understand why I can't let her live with them like this. Friday she goes in.

Most don't know that the song was actually written about his young daughter, about 4 years old I think.

Places with a lot of people talking, like in restaurants, can be the worst for hearing aids. I don't need them yet and have enough trouble hearing people at my table.

Ouch, paid parking at a state university? My how times have changed. You need a car with remote climate control so you can start it cooling before you get there. Better would be a self driving one that would come up to the building :D

I don't think so, no pain when dead ;)
Hearing aids have come a long way. Even simple $15 ear plugs cancelled all the background noise at my grandsons graduation and I could hear my family talking next to me. You might be surprised.
