We have a lot of welcomed showers here but due another heat wave soon. It's be really humid and my dehumidifiers have been filling up fast

Good for the most part. Some days are nice, and some are exhausting.
Depending on the day
This morning my oldest woke up at 6:40am asking for screen time. Since summer started, my rule has been "yes, after 8am". So nothing has changed but, he got all attitudey because I said no this might be summer vacay but I'm not starting anything until after 8am is that too much? Lol

I ran the whole house fan this morning and then turned it off after closing the windows.

The house will warm up this afternoon though.

And again today. I hope you manage to stay cool !

I get attitude from the little dude at the thirty minute reminder. “But Grammy I just started this match and might not be done on time!” My response is always, “Go fast, thirty minutes.” Also, he doesn’t get screen time after 1600. I’m sick of the racket by then and he otherwise has trouble getting to sleep.

Omgoodness that sounds just like my kids! I've been very lenient with it this summer but they're being pushy and whiney about it lately so, I've put some time limits back... 4 hours after they do their morning routine & daily chores. After its over, they act like it's the end of the world and then spend at least an hour just bickering/antagonizing with one another before they actually start playing. Drives me a little nuts just a little. I don't remember being like that as a kid

They’re good although something ate them again but not fully thankfully. Thinking I need to put down some more repels all. Or it’s bugs. Idk. But the tomatoes are MASSIVE and LOADED with tomatoes peppers are loaded too. Squash have flowers. Eggplant doesn’t yet but the plant is huge.
