It will house 75 people. Every one of them better have the skills needed to maintain their hidey hole and they better all get along well. I think that’s a recipe for disaster. Anyone who can afford that will want servants to do the dirty work :gigWhere are those folks going to live?
Maybe they will have androids for all that? 🤣

Maybe the "economically depressed" area where the help lives wasn't pretty enough to show. If that big old thing is for just 75 people, I can't even imagine what the cost to buy a unit would be.

I think I read somewhere that a unit cost 2.5 million.
They have a penthouse too. I wonder if the penthouse is on top or bottom? If the goal is to survive it seems futher into the earth would be safer.

Thanks Debby, feeling better now :)

I understand not digging the big city. I’d rather explore other places for sure. Are you planning any sort of vacation with your son this year?

Glad you're better!

No vacation this year, but next year he'll come out and we'll have some fun. One of the things he wants to do is check out Mammoth Cave. I came across this interesting chart a while back and see where it's #1 on the list. It's fairly close by so easy enough to visit. I think Janie mentioned having gone there and she said it was fun.

2.5 mil rules me out. I'll just have to stay top-side with the sky, birds and real weather. (And that's ok.)

I always wanted to do the overnight/camping trip in the cave. I wish I had. The cave tours were all wonderful. My kids always enjoyed them.
