I don't like that part either. It was 27°F when I got up this morning. I said I was ready for winter, but I'm not ready to start fighting with ice when I'm watering everyone.![]()

I'll be filling extra tanks with water that I can get water from the bottom or perhaps figure a way to heat the tanks. I may can use a new clean water tank of 50 gallons and pull it from coop to coop with the John Deere. Not sure if the sprayer has a 50 gallon or smaller but I can replace what ever have along with all new hoses and a new pump. Then again there has to be a way to get water to every one easier than that. Last year I only had 2 coops in stead of 9. What have I gotten in to??
Material is on site for 3 more. No more 50 per coop though. Downsizing for coops of 16 or less.I had no idea you had such a large set up LTay! That's a lot to take care of.
That’s not the cool I want either! Right now is perfect really. 50’s or 60’s in the AM, 80’s in the afternoon but that could be a little cooler IMO.It was 27°F when I got up this morning. I said I was ready for winter, but I'm not ready to start fighting with ice when I'm watering everyone.![]()

I was able to keep the house opened up until after midday for the first time. It was only 78 inside when I came in.I like that too and all the way to 70. Warmer than that, I need my a/c.
