The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Thanks! I’m just nervous I guess cause I’ve only ever pet sat/dog walked.
Wish you were one of our farm neighbors because we need help so bad right now. You'd be right at home helping with our chickens. It's a struggle for us because I can't risk a fall now that it has rained a lot the lat 2 days and the ground is slick and my wife struggles with her oxygen tank making the rounds with a walker, wheel and basket type, going from coop to coop. I'm counting down the weeks until I can be out every day once again. My biggest fear now it some of my hens that I sweet talk will take up with my wife and forget who I am.

My Honey hen is in for the night. She came in when Ma came in from closing up coops. She waited for Ma on the porch gate rather than go into her coop. Now she's asleep in a cardboard coop inside our coop. She scoped out our coop for a place to roost but we found a box for her instead. That was easier to line for poop protection that the whole house. At her first and original home she roosted out in trees at night. She was eyeing a ceiling fan for a roost and I had to put a stop to her thinking before she was up there on it. We really want to get her some sisters and a suitable suitor in a aviary soon.

I have been horribly car-sick my entire life. I can't go on fair rides either unless it's bumper cars or something like that.

I just need to be in the front passenger seat is all and watch the scenery. If for whatever reason I have to have the back seat, I stick my head between the two front seats and watch the road.

It's like non-existent if we drive at night so if you want to drive, maybe suggest going at night?

My sister was like you are Debbie with motion sickness. She always wanted to be the driver so she didn't get stuck in the back seat. For years she was a travel agent and whenever she had to go on a cruise, she'd spend almost the entire time in the casino so she wouldn't have to see the motion of the ship moving.
