The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Things are shaping up around here. Leftover chili for dinner tonight. For tomorrow, the stuffing components are all prepped and will just need to be put together and baked. A big double batch of Chex Mix is in the oven. The turkey is thawed out. Asparagus has been trimmed. Deviled eggs are done. Sweet potato pie is done (and taste tested).

Love getting all the details done ahead of time.

DH decided he didn't want butternut squash for tomorrow's veg so he made a trip to the grocery store for asparagus. He said it was surprisingly not busy. Hope you have a not busy store visit too DMC!

Butternut squash is delicious!

I love it too, any sort of squash is good with me. I'll roast it in a couple days to go with our turkey leftovers.
