The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good afternoon everyone. It's sunny and pleasant here today. Upper 60's again.
Got to start moving babies from the incubator to the brooder while the first hatch is in the timeout box for pasty butt inspection and cleaning. They are going to be surprised to find new cousins in their home waiting on them. I'll had one at the time back to the brooder so there is not a riot. They are only about 7-10 days different in ages. If I have to I'll put a divider in and hang another light but no more total than there are I don't think it is necessary. Rather have them grow up together than to integrate strangers later.

I know! Same thing here! It's the same with socks in the dryer.

A few years ago I bought a 10' white extension cord, and every year after Christmas I freak out if hubby dismantles the tree as I'm frantic about where he put my cord. He thinks I'm a lunatic that I want my white cord back, yet every year he comes to ask ME for my cord when he's hooking everything up. Go out to his garage though and you'll find a box of cords sitting on a shelf that he can never find.

Are we married to the same man Deb? :gig

Good morning everyone 🙂 stay safe and warm
Good morning Sue.
Good morning everyone, washing dog bedding, going for my walk, hopefully I don't get shot by the dumb neighbors shooting off guns for fun again. Second to the last day of the deer gun season, so kinda rude of them. Husband is putting up snow fence. Second to the last day before he goes back to work. Gonna be weird. He's been off for two weeks.

So very sorry for the loss of your friend. :(

That's a coma to me.
Good afternoon. What is a snow fence? Is it a barrier?

Is crispy tofu something you make or is it premade? I've had it tofu hot like in Asian food but it was always soft.
I squeeze the tofu, cube it, season it, add some bread crumbs and a touch of oil, put it on a sheet pan and bake at 400* until crisp. About 30-40 minutes. It takes on whatever flavors you add and is similar in texture to chicken.

It keeps our long driveway from drifting in as much. Cuts down on plowing.

It's time for the annual Christmas mystery...every year I need an extension cord for the tree lights and every year I have to go buy a new one. What gives?

Off to the hardware store.
Somewhere there's another dimension filled with extension chords, single socks, random puzzle pieces, and about a quarter of the spoons I keep replacing. 😑
