I've discovered why my pet rooster can't talk. He's lost his tongue. He's been my supervisor in the coop when I transfer feed from the coop bin to the hanging feeders. I was carrying him last night when I fell. I had felt his crop and it was empty. I've got to find a way to get adequate nutrition in him. I will not just up and cull a pet without exhausting all possibilities.

Pm @casportpony she can teach you to tube feed him if necessary.
