Good morning everyone. The brooder chicks have been taken care of and now this old rooster is going out to get the grill going. Company will be here soon.

Cookout got cancelled. They couldn't stay long enough to grill. They did help me move some pre made pallels into place and put them together for a run on the new coop for the Vagabond roosters. Ma's cooking the meat slow in her big electric skillet and will had the potatoes, carrots, and onions later.

The blue birds are nesting. They aren't shy at all. I hope we will see baby birds soon.

Hi Janie! All is good. What are you up to today?
I’ve been working on shower flowers. I am trying to figure out how to hide the ugly foam in these vases. I think I’m going to use water beads on the tall ones.

I don't know what the recipe would taste like without those...they add moisture to the meatloaf. The celery adds just a tiny bit of flavor, and you can't taste the mushrooms at all.

If you try the recipe with those changes let me know how you like it.

I hate mushrooms. I can’t get beyond the texture. I’m ok with less moisture. If I try it, I will let you know, thank you!
