I’m going hiking today in honor of my mom. The anniversary of her passing is tomorrow. She loved hiking and nature so going to some of her favorite spots today.

Thanks!!! I’m going with my BF and his dad. They offered to take me because we wanted to do something today anyway and I told them about it and yeah. Much better than just hiking a random trail like I was going to though I’m sure she would like that too but still.

It's always best, and safest, to hike with a buddy. You never know what will happen. Y'all have fun.

Good morning everyone. Went to be early and didn't move a muscle until 8:30 this morning. Not doing much today but rest. The wet weather forecast for yesterday and today vanished with no more than a few drops. High today will be in the low 60's and cloudy.

Very true!! Thankfully these trails are local anyway and more like a walk than deep woods mountain hiking or whatever so fairly safe but you do make an excellent point. Even on these trails things could happen. And thank you!!!

Hi Debby! Yep!!
So to add to the stress, a house became available to them. The same day it posted, he nabbed it. They will be living with us until they close on it…possibly a month. I may lose my mind. The guy he’s buying it from is a friend of my son’s or he may not have gotten it. I guess there were 8 others that wanted it. It was built in 2020. It’s a very nice double wide with a detached garage and a garden shed.

That would be awesome for them to get a house of their own! Is it close to where you are?
