It’s about 12 miles from us.

He had talked to a neighbor that lives 2 miles from here about buying his place. They moved to town and it is sitting empty. He hadn’t heard anything so he jumped on this. This is maybe a better decision. The neighbors house is in a wet area so they have gotten water in the basement.

12 miles isn't a bad distance. Sounds like they made a good decision about which house to get (no one needs a wet basement).

Good morning Debby. Alisha also has to be within 20 minutes of work. She works in the hospital lab. It would have been cutting it too close, especially in the winter.
