Ice cream is always the answer to what's for dinner Do you make your own?

We try to keep ice cream at a minimum but I've been eyeballing one of these little makers from Dash (either the single serve mug or the pint one):

I guess I needed that nudge...I ordered the pint ice cream maker and the 12-cup popcorn maker (had to get that too, because free shipping ya know)

Food prep for the 4th is almost done.

Apple crisp made last week & in the freezer to warm up tomorrow
Ribs made yesterday
Cole slaw made yesterday
Beans simmering on the stove now
Eggs are hard boiled & just need to "devil" them

DH got to pick all his favorites. Once this is all pulled together, I won't have to cook for at least 3 days. win-win!

Since I have no plans, what time are we eating?
Are you having company…besides me?
