A belated good morning - was up and out early to beat the heat. Another 'not nice' day predicted for today. Yesterday afternoon a major storm mostly to the North of us caused massive damage. Many expected to be without power for several days. We got lucky.

I did the checking in of the water for the Hens this morning before work. Today is the last day under 100F for the 10 day forecast.

PGE went up $120.00(total close to $400.00) for this bill. It could have been worse though!

Hi Sour, glad you still have your power. Sounds like crews will have plenty of work to do to get things back to normal.

We had storms all night and plenty of rain but no loss of power thankfully.

Hi Debby! Not yet. I did 2 dozen each choc chip and Reese’s peanut butter cup cookies yesterday. I also did 2 dozen Red Velvet cupcakes. I’m making cutout cookies this morning. I’m going to try a different vanilla cupcake recipe and see if I have issues with the wrappers staying on.

I'd want an invite to that wedding just for all the goodies you've made DMC! Everything is going to be delicious

PGE is also supposed to give us a rate break for the summer starting next month. Hopefully both will help with the next bill.

It is the second or third most expensive utility in the Country!
