Thanks, we’re home. It was very busy there. She embarrassed herself. She put on a good show for everyone. The vet told us to start her on glucosamine. She said her hips were really tight. She’s a big girl and needs 2 a day. If I go through the clinic it’s $92 for a 30 day supply. Ouch! We got a free sample pack which is 8 days worth and she liked them.

Sounds like a tiring morning for Hattie, poor girl. Is the glucosamine prescription strength or something other than what you can get over the counter (like at Walmart or Walgreen's)?

I can get something over the counter but this is stronger. We’ll see how she is after this sample pack is gone. The vet said something is better than nothing. I didn’t think she would eat them but she gobbled them up.

It sure does. Brewster just finished the last of his. I had to smother them in peanut butter to keep them in his mouth.

My husband takes glucosamine...I'll have to ask him if he uses peanut butter or takes them plain.

I give Abby an allergy pill daily and use the hickory smoke pill pockets. Frank has to get a treat too of course; my feet are soaked in drool by the time I get one out and put the pill in.

He seems fine now. He is still on a sensitive tummy diet though.
