Oh, I hope they’re done today! I would be waiting too.

I made this pumpkin cake my daughter really likes so she can take some to work and brownies to have a la mode tomorrow for dessert. Breaking the mold this year lol. I got a whole turkey because just a breast was the same price. So there will be leftovers . Sides are cornbread stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, fresh green beans, a salad and orange cranberry relish.

We'll have a whole turkey too, I got one of those "bake from frozen" ones so we will have plenty of leftovers. Also making mac & cheese, sausage & sage dressing, fresh green beans, and cranberry relish (that's all I have made so far). For desert I'm going to try a new recipe for no-bake pumpkin cheesecake with a ginger snap cookie crust.

Yesssss!!!! We raised more than I thought!!!!!! And WAY WAY more than last year!!!!!! Last year we raised over $5000. This year we raised over $10,000. The actual total was $14,644 we still have money left over from last year so this money will go a LONG way. We use it for our “fun fund” for outings/activities/parties etc. as well as some trainings sometimes so yeah. We will be able to do a lot with the money so it’s really great. We also had an anonymous donor that offered to match/double what we raised if we got to a certain point which we did I believe so yeah. That was fantastic as well. Plus everybody had a great time which is important too.

It is. I hope I didn't forget anyone. We are planning on getting some Port-A-Huts today (animal shelters) but the place is about 2-1/2 hours away. I should go, but haven't decided if I'm going to yet...

There's a few small chores that I'm wanting to do today. I have a quail with a broken leg, and it's been splinted for awhile and doing well, but it's one of those things I've been trying to keep good tabs on.
