I don't have a busy day planned! I believe deviled eggs is pretty much our one project. The rest is the usual, let the cats in and out 50 times, go on an Easter Egg hunt (they love laying in the hay bales), and feeding (appeasing) the horde. (We have 29 sheep, 3 goats, and 28 chickens, ???rabbits, and 31 quail, plus our 3 cats and 4 dogs.)

I'm tweaking the deviled egg recipe so it doesn't have seed oils or sugar and it shouldn't be too hard. We'll make a batch the usual way, too.

I hope your errand run goes well! How many people will you have over for Thanksgiving? (Sorry if you've already said and I've missed it!)

That's Festus (the bestest). He's our Akbash livestock guardian (deputy marshal). Just a sweety pie.



Most of them are Finn or Finn crosses. The one front and center is a Romney - Corriedale cross. They are sweethearts. Big beggars, too, and the whole flock will come running if they see you.

You do have a horde, they must keep you busy!

Hope your deviled egg recipe turns out well.

For dinner it's just DH and me (and I'm sure the 3 cats will get a bite of turkey). But I want the full Thanksgiving meal this year so there will be a ton of leftovers. And that's ok.

Hi DMC, you're going to your son's house tomorrow, right? I'm sure they'll be glad to see you pies and cookies!

For our dessert I made a new recipe: No-Bake Pumpkin Cheesecake (it has a ginger snap crust). The filling taste delicious, this might become a regular thing. :D

A nap sounds good, get some rest!
