The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning all.
My coffee pot quit working this morning. Good thing the single cup side worked. I bought this in May. I sent an email. I hope they honor the warranty. It was $130 for this coffee machine. If not, lesson learned…buy the cheap ones.

If it's any consolation, my milk frother stopped working. My SIL was going to get me a new one. It still spins and heats the milk. I deduced it was that batch of milk (I had multiple cartons with the same date, but not expired or even really that close to expiring) and as soon as I got later dated milk, it worked. Maybe it's your coffee? lol.

No, I know coffee is much more important than frothy milk. I don't drink coffee anymore, so I was kind of sad, though.

I hope yours gets fixed or replaced soon! We have some of those pour-over type makers for emergencies like that. (My SO is still a very dedicated coffee drinker.)

Hopefully the organizers thought ahead and are putting some warming stations out for people (like those propane tower things, or hot chocolate.) May the craft shopping go well and quickly!

Wonder why the milk made the difference with the frother? (Spell check wants that to be brother )

We use pour over makers every day, love them!

I bought organic carrots from Walmart about 2 weeks ago….the regular. They are so bitter that I can’t eat them. They look beautiful.

Fall carrots are usually more bitter.
