G’morning Sour. I was reading about your weather, hope you stay warm and cozy.

Went to an indoor/outdoor German Christmas craft fair. We dressed for the day, and in spite of the wind and cold stayed warm and had a good time. Stopped to visit our daughter on the way home.

I'm sorry about the coffee maker. Maybe it’s something that you can troubleshoot. Did you google the model and the issue?

Thanks, things aren’t made to last. I called the company this morning. He told me to unplug it, plug it back in, and turn it on. It wouldn’t turn back on. They are supposed to be shipping me a new one.

If it's any consolation, my milk frother stopped working. My SIL was going to get me a new one. It still spins and heats the milk. I deduced it was that batch of milk (I had multiple cartons with the same date, but not expired or even really that close to expiring) and as soon as I got later dated milk, it worked. Maybe it's your coffee? lol.

No, I know coffee is much more important than frothy milk. I don't drink coffee anymore, so I was kind of sad, though.

I hope yours gets fixed or replaced soon! We have some of those pour-over type makers for emergencies like that. (My SO is still a very dedicated coffee drinker.)

I got an email that it was approved, so I hope they ship promptly.

Janie and/or DMC, was it one of you that enjoys books by Frieda McFadden? I've been reading one about a new doctor starting her medical internship. Pretty funny, which is a change from McFadden's usual books.

I want to thank everyone for the prayers today and throughout everything we've been through. Both our kids are here and I will share his service information when we work it out.

I just heard, Sue, and I'm svs for your loss. From what I have seen here in the past few years, Bob was a very helpful guy for BYC. He will be missed. My condolences to you and your family.
