Good morning. The cold weather is back here once again.

Isn't that way too warm, way too soon? Scary for what the summer may bring. Just received notification that in June electric service costs will increase 20%.

Ouch, 20% is not a small increase! I'm sure the rest of the country will start trending that way as well.

We had to do that one summer. Thankfully the power was only off for a few hours. Jim bought a generator, and a window ac unit, a couple of days later. We've never had power out long enought to use the generator but its nice knowing we have it. My daughter, and my oldest son. have both had to use thier's for almost two weeks after a bad storm a few years back.

We are thinking about a window a/c and generator for our room. Even if the kids have to camp on the floor it’s better than the alternative.

Yes it’s about 10 degrees too warm at least a month early.

We had a rate increase last year, so irritating.

It's too cold to shear so we're hanging out today. Hopefully getting my motor in the process of being fixed, though, if it can be fixed.

What do you do when you can't shear? Read, play card games, sleep? Inquiring minds want to know

I hope your appointments go well and you get just the right amount of snow! Hopefully not any shoveling to do!

Appointments are done for now, thankfully. We had a bit of flying snow earlier but it's stopped, and expected to start later tonight with some accumulation. DH is taking tomorrow off from work, so he can have the shovel all to himself (I'm good about sharing things like snow shovels).

Appointments are done for now, thankfully. We had a bit of flying snow earlier but it's stopped, and expected to start later tonight with some accumulation. DH is taking tomorrow off from work, so he can have the shovel all to himself (I'm good about sharing things like snow shovels).

Oh our next days off I'll have some laundry to do, but we've been filling propane, I melted my oil bottle (for shearing) by holding it too close to the heater trying to warm it up, so I got a bottle of hot sauce to use (the bottle not the hot sauce, my sister will use the hot sauce .) (I forgot to look at Walmart for one of those condiment bottles after our shearing job in Gillette.)

I also call home and we catch up on our shows together, lol. Plus I try to catch up on here and keep the sleeping bag warm of course!

We played a card game the other day after shearing called Nertz. Have you ever played that?

Hi Ron, is dry weather a good thing for you? We could use some drying time, we're in a flood watch (not me personally, but our area).

We get more rain tomorrow. The next snow pack report will let us know how we are doing for moisture. The lakes seem full which is good.

Our rates were already high, but PGandE has raised rates more than 50% over last year.

I've not heard of Nertz. When my kids were younger, we used to play a lot of Uno and Hearts.
