Hey, @DigMyChicks! I can't remember what this totally was about, but we were talking about inability to find roses that will come back up here in Wisconsin I think? I was going to let you know if ours came back.

Anyway, these are two cheapos I bought several years ago. Yes, I should have pruned them, but they're baaaack!

My bush died. We had a week or so that was brutally cold and we had no snow cover. I think that’s what killed it. I had my hubby bring in bigger rocks, more dirt, and I planted annuals.

Hubby has an oil change this morning, then we are off to Fargo. We have to pick up something for our son’s semi and then we’re going to Sam’s Club.

We got another 1.25” of rain last night. I don’t have to water my flowers or the garden now.

Hello! Only a bit of Sunday left here. The lady got her sheep caught up today so I just ran over to do them and had a pretty mellow day. There's some 4-H thing in Nebraska this week so I'm rowing the boat solo. I have a pretty light shearing schedule, so that will be nice. I might take some naps!

Those look like one of my bushes. Mine has the best smelling roses in the yard, and I love the pink and peach colors on it.

I think anyone that can grow roses is a gardening genius. I always manage to kill them.

20+ years ago the Princess ordered bare root roses through QVC. They arrived while I was away judging a field trial. When I got home she had planted them - upside down. I replanted them properly and all survived at least for a bit. One still remains and is blooming right now.
