Good morning, Debby. Taco Tuesday! I think I'll make the hubs some breakfast tacos mid morning.

My cats have gotten used to the ceiling fan but Boo doesn't like the barn fans inside the chicken runs. When they come on she runs.

Hi Janie, you are spot on with Taco Tuesday! I have plans of making taco meat for our dinner...DH can use it however he wants (tacos, burritos, nachos, etc).

I almost jumped for joy yesterday, the grocery store was carrying my favorite brand of pre-made tamales. They aren't as good as homemade by someone's granny, but for around here they are pretty good. That's what I'll have for a tamale Tuesday:

Good luck. I've never managed to catch one in a live trap. If I ever do, I'm going to skin it and eat it.

We’ve trapped many. Once we got a mom and baby at the same time. Our son used it one time and the coon escaped. It pried the bars apart. They are strong devils.

Hi DMC, that weather looks nasty! My fingers are crossed you won't have any problems.

Ours is kind of ugly with the humidity in the 80% range but otherwise just a hot summer day (at least so far).

I hope so too, thanks! There have been a lot of forecasts like this lately. Most don’t happen, thank goodness. It’s getting old.
I’ve never payed attention to the humidity. I always look at the dew point. If it’s in the 70’s, it’s horrid. That’s where we’re at today. We have a good wind though. It helps.

Hello! I had 25 head to go do today so I just needed to make sure I got out of the house this morning.

It was a new job and went well (well enough anyways--everyone lived and had all their important parts at the end!) The people and their sheep were both nice. I guess their old shearer said he didn't have the time to do them.

I heard the sheep owners daughter on the phone while I was shearing say, "She's a keeper!" When she got off the phone, I agreed, "Yeah, she's a nice sheep!" (Not a lie.)

I guess the day she called me, she had two girls come over and say they would shear her sheep, but they had to take them for 2 weeks, and then they would bring them back!

Anyways, sorry for the long story, but at the end the daughter goes, "Yeah, that's why I said you were a keeper!" lol. (I thought she was talking about the sheep. ) But it was sweet of her to say.

I hope everyone is having a nice Tuesday! I'm going to go check on everyone and wash off 25 sheep off me. (OK TMI...)
