Heading to Seattle (yuck) to take DIL & grandbaby's to the airport. They fly out tomorrow. I will miss my baby's.

Good morning, Rene. I'm a helicopter mom. I can't imagine the stress of having a child in law enforcement. God bless him, and you!

Jim, my husband, had a close call not too many years before we quit riding. He was in Austin to visit friends. He stopped at a red light and a bus behind him didn't stop soon enough. It pushed him out into the intersection. He had a back injury but otherwise he was fine. The bike needed a little work so while it was in the shop, we went shopping for a convertible for our upcoming vacation. We had intended to sell the bike after that but ended up taking a few more trips. I've loved motorcycles all my life, but now I just enjoy looking at them.

That had to be so scary for him. So glad he wasn't seriously injured.

Flying helicopters is also a risky thing. I pray he is always safe.

Thankfully my son is no longer in law enforcement, sadly it was because he became very sick. He is doing much better now.
