Retirement kind of takes the glow off the weekends. It's great that you have a Friday routine to look forward to.Now that I am retired, Monday is like every other day.
I do like Friday though! That is popcorn and movie night

Try a heating pad, DMC.Hi Janie! It is not usual to have air on in October. It was unseasonably warm.
My back was feeling ok and someone scared me at work when I walked into the office this morning. I tweaked it again. I’m a little irritated.

That is how it is when you are retired! Friday and Saturday still have a bit of the special feeling they had while still employed! I`ll still take retirement!![]()
Absolutely! My last job was my best job, but retirement is great!Same here Barry...I'm retired but still enjoy the weekends a bit more. (And definitely, I'll still take retirement!)
Hahaha lol! If they make you tweak your back again that cane might come in handy for just that purpose!!!Try a heating pad, DMC.
And carry a cane. You probably won't need it to walk, but you can use it to beat people when they scare you.
I wish I had a heating pad. I’m fresh out of canes too.Try a heating pad, DMC.

I wish I had a heating pad. I’m fresh out of canes too.I hope she learned her lesson. I really like this lady, so I didn’t stay mad long.
Thanks for the suggestion. I may try that out.You can make a temporary heating pad. Get a kitchen towel wet and put it in a zip lock baggie. Heat it up in the microwave and put it on your back. You should test the heat first, it can get really hot in the microwave.
This works pretty good when times are desperate. It won't last as long as an electric pad heat-wise, but will maybe take the edge off the pain.
