Good morning and Thanks Debby! You’re good for me ego.
I brought a cake to work last week. I gave a piece to my boss. He came to the classroom later in the day and pulled me out into the hallway. He said my cake was awesome and it reminded him of his mom. His mom and dad died 2 years ago, 2 weeks apart. I almost cried. That is why I bake.

I agree, thank you. It was a chocolate cake. Cake recipe was from Cake by Courtney. The frosting and filling were not Cake by Courtney. I used a filling made with flour, butter, vanilla, and milk. The frosting was a boiled frosting made with sugar, butter, vanilla, and chocolate chips.
