The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning to one and all! Used to be excited for Friday's when I worked. Now all the days seem like Friday's. Or Mondays. Or Tuesdays. Or..well..you get the jest of it. 😁
Good morning Cynthia! Amazing how the days start to run together! Enjoy your forever the weekend day! 😁

No on the complaint, and I probably will not find out unless things escalate.

Two nights ago Scaredy was 'death staring' off the deck, and the invader was eating out of her food bowl. When I opened the door, he left in a hurry. I guess our last interaction educated him.
Hopefully no more issues on the complaint! It is nice when education teaches as it it supposed to! šŸ˜…

Well if he is eating, at least we know he probably isn't rabid.
Hopefully there will not be anymore complaints.

Morning Janie! You have a Collin Street Bakery within driving distance...that's worlds better than anything else. :drool
Yes, it is, but I hate that 45 minute drive. Its very boring and mostly flat land between here and there. (Although, we do pass through the forbidden zone)
not my photo

(There are no apes, nor has Charalton Heston been spotted there. Its forbidden because it has a filtration center and pipes water to the dallas metro area.)

Our last key lime cheesecake from Collin Street was awful. Whoever packaged it let water get into the styrofoam container. It froze and when it started to thaw it saturated the cheesecake. It was very disappointing, and a little embarrassing, because we had company over.

Laughing at the forbidden zone, made me think about my parents cornering my husband, giving him a play by play of the whole series they had just watched, I was almost in the kitchen when I realized what was going on. He saw me and looked at me imploringly, they didn't, I grinned at him, promptly turned around and left, let him suffer just a little longer, then called him without getting trapped too and gave him an out... I'm so bad sometimes... :gig :lau

Yikes on the Forbidden Zone!

How disappointing on the cheesecake, sorry you got a bad one.

Hi Barry, are you doing cider again today?
Hi Debby! We picked apples off of our late tree. It is an Arkansas Black. Keeper apples that taste kind of like apple wine and grapes very good! We will probably make cider and dehydrate some on Sat. I just counted and we have 15 bushels! Even after much processing and giving them away! šŸ™‚ I hope you had a good day! šŸ™‚
