Good morning, Rene. I was scared of marble! I was afraid it was too high maintenance for me. I was lucky enough to have a brother who sales and installs countertops. I got such a good deal that we were able to put cream bordeux granite on all the countertops in the kitchen and the bathrooms.

Good morning Janie! I bet it's lovely. I was scared of marble too, especially in my kitchen. The stuff we put in isn't a true marble, yet they still label it as such. It's just a little less hard than granite. I've been so happy with it.

I have my shopping and wrapping done. Except one. Yep.

Birthday tomorrow for Grandson that lives here. I have a son and daughter in law that lives with me along with their son and little daughter. He'll be 7. Jane is 2.
Mine is on the 20th. My husband's was on the 19th, we never forgot one another's birthdays. lol

We just bought a new pre-lit tree. And I did something I've never done, I put it up yesterday... my son was like, it's October, I said it's almost November... I just wanted to make sure it works. We're having Thanksgiving at our daughter's house this year, so I will leave it up, but won't decorate it until after that day.

Good morning Debby! That sounds like fun! We rarely ever get any trick or treaters. Mostly Amish neighbors here in the country! Other that seeing a couple of made up grandkids!
