Afternoon all. Just got back from town. Did a bit of shopping.
Taking some of the Halloween down today. Outside is done.
Now, contemplating on starting Christmas decorations. And like ..drs..why don't I know your name?..Anyway thinking of putting my tree up just before Thanksgiving.

Sounds like you're on top of things Cynthia. We don't do a lot of decorating so will just put up our tree around Thanksgiving and be done. And hang a wreath on the door for the outside.

Thank you Janie! That's also one of the new cabinets he had to build.

That's beautiful! I bet the red just pops.

I love stone and solid wood, my husband says I have expensive taste, so it's a good thing he can build most of the things I like...lol. But, he likes pretty much the same things I do. He's about done with woodworking, the older we get the riskier it becomes. I'd also rather see him having fun than working all of the time. He's done enough of that, his whole life. Looking forward to getting our last big project finished. Then it's just continuing maintenance.

I don't usually put up my tree until after Thanksgiving, but this is an unusual year...lol At least I'll get to enjoy it longer than I normally do. If we were celebrating Thanksgiving here, like we usually do, it would have to wait. Of course I could set it up, just use the white lights and decorate it for Thanksgiving! Maybe we're on to something here...

Sorry about that! That is the way my whole day has gone! It started with our 1 year old leaf blower with carburetor issues... couldn`t use it! Then I ran pine needles and some leaves up to the local compost facility with our old truck and proceeded to let the tail gate get away from me and land snack dab on my arthritic foot! So yeah it`s been one!

Oh no! I'm sorry you've has such a rough day. I hope your evening is better and you didn't do any severe damage to your foot. That had to hurt so bad.
