I had an ocular headache last week. It was not too bad this time but it still is a bother.

Good morning, Rob. I hope you are all better this week.
I feel like mine is staying just under the surface. Its just slight discomfort and visual disturbances right now. I hope it will go away without ever fully manifesting.

When you guys say ocular headaches, does it affect your vision? I get a type of migraine that causes kaleidoscope vision. Not super painful, mostly uncomfortable, but it leaves me not feeling very good.

Yes. I get flickering lights, dark spots in my vision, and halos. And it feels like I'm getting a continuous shock. Its like waves are running through me. I often have a tension headache with mine and nausea.

Thank you, I didn't know what it was called. I started having them in 2007. But, I always forget to mention them to my Dr.

Your doctor will probably do an MRI & send you to an ophthalmologist.
Also, have you ever had whiplash or a neck or spinal injury? Many people began having occular migraines after spinal injuries. Another reason some people have them is MS.
