Back in 2004 I visited Dachau in Germany that was the site of a former concentration camp. That was enough for me.

We went to the Ann Frank house. In an added room they displayed drawings made from children in the camps. I became emotional and had to leave.

I can understand the reaction. Such a terrible time in history, but so important that people are aware of what happened and do all that is possible to keep it from happening again.

Great quote. I tried to look up who said that and it just comes back as author unknown. It's certainly appropriate for that subject.

Good morning all! It's a rainy day here. But I'm with my daughter, so that makes the day brighter.

I've watched many movies about the holocaust. I cried during all of them, but the last one I ever watched, left me sobbing, I just can't watch anymore of them. It was called, "Life is Beautiful". I will always remember it, as we all should.
