The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

It's mostly on the other side of the Cascades, what we call the wetside. But, there has been some flooding from the Yakima river, about an hour away from us. This is all cumulative from upstream.

This is the road we take when we go to Mount Rainier, it's also the road we took to go camping at Walupt lake this summer. This river empties into the Columbia River when it gets to the Tri-Cities, which is also an hour away and where we shop and have or Dr's. They were calling for a chance of flooding in West Richland, in some lower areas. I haven't heard of it was bad there. It happens in that area every once in awhile.

Those pictures are scary looking. Stay safe!

It looks pretty scary. I hope you aren't going anywhere near there anytime soon.
No plans to go that direction. That's a road we usually only use in the summer. Hubs used to ski at White pass, but we quit doing that a long time ago. Thank you!

Good morning DMC! My sil's family makes it before Thanksgiving every year. Our daughter loves it. So do I, it's so yummy! Those look great.
Hi Rene, thank you! My husband’s grandma was a master at making lefse. She was 100% Norwegian. I don’t know if that matters.😁
Heading to Tahoe on Sunday for 5 days with our daughter and sil. They're a lot of fun, so I'm really looking forward to it. 💗

I was hoping there would be snow, but it doesn't look like there will be. I like going somewhere to enjoy the snow and then coming home, where there is hopefully none...lol
I have 2 spare bedrooms.😊
They looked good to me! What's your favorite way of filling them (I think they are filled?)?
We put butter and sugar on them. I zap them in the microwave for a few seconds so it melts a little.
