The noise factor

We would love to have some Peafowl around the place but have been scared off by the noise factor especially early in the morning.
During te day it's fine but due to the situation where we live early morning noise would be unacceptable.
Has anybody had success in keeping their birds quiet?

mine seem to make more noise at night or when they hear loud noises. Most of the other times they are pretty quiet.
