OH NO GUYS
MY LIFE IS OVER

So I'm sure you all know Angel, the 9 yr old horse whom I love with all my heart and soul... SHE'S GETTING BRED.
That's right.
My beautiful baby Angel might have a foal.
Now you might think this is a good thing.
Oh no.
See, if she catches (I'll explain momentarily), I won't be able to ride her for 11 months! And then the year she has to nurse her foal! Two years without my Angel!

However, they have tried to breed her before and she never caught her egg. However, Angel has an egg again so there is a CHANCE she will catch the egg and it will grow into her foal. A high chance, at that. Secretly I'm hoping Angel DOESN'T catch and that the Appaloosa mare (Lil Mitzi) does catch so we CAN have a new foal but I still get to work with my Angel. Hopefully that's what happens.

I will hope that's what happens as well, but you seem to have such a great relationship with Angel, can you imagine the kind of friendship you and the foal could have as well!! But as I said I understand and will cross my finger that lil mitzi has a baby instead.

See, Lil Mitzi and I are great together too. And I will be able to halter-train and teach her foal myself, so her foal and I will have a great relationship as well. But Angel is my baby, I trained her myself.

Now, can we just allow me a second to go off on a rant?
So my friend... let's say her name is Becky. So Becky came to camp at the same place I did because Becky is a little over-clingy and copies everything I do. She wasn't experienced enough for Angel, so she got moved. Becky got angry and was like "BUT I'M BETTER THAN SKY! ANGEL JUST LIKES HER MORE!" (Me = Sky) and I had to intervene. I was like "Excuse me, but did you train Angel yourself? Did you halter-train and teach her to walk-trot-canter on command?" And Becky said no. And I told her off about listening to my instructor and stuff and my instructor agreed. But NOW, she's riding Angel. And she always hears me and Stephanie (Stephanie is practically my sister, like seriously. We both adore Angel and like the same things. :3 ) saying, "Angel is my baby, they'd better not hurt her in that breeding process." or, "I hope she doesn't catch and Lil Mitzi does. She's my baby." or, "We are practically out for blood, Angel is our pride." And then she copies us saying she loves Angel and all that.
Can we just take a second to all agree that this is annoying for Stephanie and I? Since we TRAINED Angel, and Angel is our pride and joy, and for 'Becky' to go off and just steal Angel like that? Angel doesn't even like her! Neither does Lil Mitzi. She's too loud and rough for them. So yeah.

Oh then that's good, boy that must be so much fun and work but still fun work to train and befriend horses!!

Wow, seems you may have more self control than as I would have pulled her right off of Angel! I knew a girl like that, copying everything I did and stealing my ideas and projects. Really really aggravating and that's not even the right word for it! So yes I understand and yes I would agree, rather annoying. Rant anytime! And I just have to say it sounds like you are really really really really good with horses!
