Mine haven't turned their noses up at anything yet. When they free range the first thing the older girls do is head for the dog dishes and gobble down kibble. They weren't crazy about popcorn at first but the teenages liked it so the older gals gave it a try and it was gone in a flash. I hang a whole cabbage from a tree limb now and then and it takes them about two days to eat the whole thing. Watermelon is gone in minutes, right down to the green of the rind. Mine eat tator peelings, apple peelings but refuse to touch squash or banana peelings.
When my Husband was a kid his Grandma used to give him a glass plate to smash up for the chickens to eat, I prefer to give mine oyster shells, they're cheaper LOL
