Is that the trilogy where the wizards are raised by other wizards and the boy summons the demon? If I'm thinking of the right the right trilogy I read them a few years back.

Yeah, that's a good summary of the story so far.

OOH! I love them! I read the whole series and own them! Which book is your favorite? I like Rilla of Ingleside, and Anne of Windy Poplars. Finally a book we can agree on!

I have REALLY wanted to read that, but have not been able to find the original unabridged version. And I refuse to read the shortened ones. Where did you find it?
I've never read those *scribbles names onto 'need to read' boom list*

I actually found it sitting on display in a furniture store! It wasn't for sale, but, when I asked if they would sell it to me, the store owner gave it to me for free because it was Christmas!

I work in a used book store, and I get to borrow WHAT EVER I WANT.

I just finished /the accidental werewolf, accidentally dead, accidentally human. paranormal fluff I deserved after reading the worst hard time ever A great book about the dust bowl. It reads like a novel makes you very grateful for what we have.

right now I'm reading Darcy and Elizabeth by Linda Berdoll a pride and prejudice sequel.

Next some dresden files by Jim butcher that I got DH for Christmas

Yeah, I collect books! I mostly like to get old classics that have that old book smell that I love. I would always prefer the first edition (though I will settle for 2nd or 3rd) and I NEVER buy soft cover, it's just a thing I have with hardcover. I find most of my stuff at antique stores for a dirt cheap price.
What started out as an innocent love of books has turned into a fanatical collector's hobby.....

Wow, that's a cool hobby.

I'm exactly the opposite. I read everything on my e-reader, and the real books I own are mostly paperbacks.
