Awwwww, so sorry you can't make it! But I know what you mean with car trouble - I ran over something last night & cut my tire.

Of course, the place where we get tires from was closed - had to leave it in the parking lot overnight until hubby could get a tire today. We'll miss you!

HunterJumper999 I can bring some hatching eggs in the morning. We'll be there probably there between 9:30 and about 10:30 am....I can do an 18 pack of hatching eggs for you of a wide variety .....buff orpingtons, speckled sussex, welsummers, barred rocks, non production pure mahogany rhode island reds.... (there will be a little of each in it)...If you prefer more of one kind than another, please do let me know.

Please let me know if you are interested.
(I'll check pm's tonight and will get something together for you if you like)

Have a good trip up.

I don't have a great many hatching eggs as we've been shipping and have a reserve order for Tuesday/wednesday pickup as well.

See all of you in the morning...Have a blessed evening and safe travels.

I just got in from the swap. I had a wonderful time visiting with old and new friends of the chicken world. I had the honor of judging the 4-H project birds. They were all outstanding. These youths were 9-11yrs and worked hard on their caring for their birds and doing the paperwork. I really enjoyed doing this.
I had very good sales and my frizzles were in demand again. Thanks to all who came.

Looking Forward to the next

Roy

Just wanted to say thanks to all of you that came & supported this event! We did have a fun time in spite of the cold! The turn out was off a bit but I think it was because of the weather. I know it's kinda hard to transport chickens in this temperature. It got colder as the day went!!

I hope everyone enjoyed all of the pancakes, cake walks, bingo, Indian drumming, concessions and of course CHICKENS!! Andy (aka Chicken Whisperer) was able to make it & broadcast his radio show live. He went around talking to folks & had a great time - even though he didn't win a cake! Thanks Andy for coming!

Roy, thanks a million for judging the Chicken Project. The kids were very proud of their birds & ribbons!! I thought you did a fantastic job!

They have offered us the building in the spring if we want to have another swap. Again, there would be a small charge but it will go straight to the 4H program. Let me know if you would want to do that & what you think would be a good time for it.

Again, a big THANKS to everyone that came & braved the cold weather!

I agree with Rnau that it was a good day......It was so well organized.....Thanks to all the leadership involved ...And yes it was a chilly day today.

I wish we could have stayed the whole day!!! Hubby (FarmFresH) and I had a very good time. It was nice to meet Andy and Jen and to meet some BYC Members and renew older acquaintances. Painted Gem Ranch and I Love Frizzles, it was a special treat for me to show your our humble farm.....Now I have faces that match names and some more friends!!!!

Thank you Triple B....for all the wonderful work and leadership....It's so exciting to see our youth involved with poultry.......If ever I can help with anything they are involved with, please let me know.

Hope all of you have a restful night and a blessed weekend.
