ok so ive gave in went out with Kara again yesterday went egg dropping to her friends and clients went back to the nice old man that has diffrent breeds and i caved in i am now going to be having Chocolate Orp eggs

he finally got me to agree saying they where for my daughter not for me and that they could be here 1st birthday fund ive asked not to have them just yet as im not far off going into lockdown with my silkies/frizzles/sizzles but i just have to go and pick them up when im ready there coming from a nice little hen called Marther and a very freindly Roo called Clive and there his wifes breeding pair even though i said i didnt want them am very excited now

I'll have Columbian Rock eggs, the really McCoy, around June!!! I know you want to help me get these re-started in the states don't you??!!

Seriously, I know the addiction all too well.

I have 14 Columbian Rock (LF), 9 Buff Orps, 3 RIRs and 3 Ameracaunas due tomorrow/Thurs....60 eggs for Lockedhearts due the Friday after, American Gamefowl for my FIL the Friday after that and 24 SQ Barred Rock eggs headed this way next week!!!

That Sportsman might be the death of me yet (....and you too!!)

OH Scott .... How did you know???? I have actually been looking into those Columbian Rocks!!!! You got them?

You lucky duck! Do ya like them? I would LOVE to work on that project!!!! This ol Sportsman is just begging to be plugged in!

June, you say. Well, heck yeah, that is close enough to "about 5 months (of not hatching)!"

You have alot of upcoming hatching! It is such fun! I currently have (not mentioning numbers, cuz you would faint) tooooo many chicks brooding! You are headed there, too!

I hope these BRs of mine hatch out well in a couple days. Ya know, I am really liking these Rocks! Here is a picture of the ONLY 2 that were at the Sedalia, MO show last weekend ...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i would love to send them to some friend in the US but i doubt they would live the plane journey and your looking at mega £££ or $$$ for them to travel in the cabin it would just kill them in the hold i think and all that on and off planes have you seen how they throw the suit cases you would get scrambled eggs ready for the pan not the bator. yet my friends sister is studying in america maybe i could ask her to take some back with her when she comes home next huuummmm something to think about and look into i think that will be as when there there it just posting well i dont know when she's coming back next or if they would allow the eggs to travel as is outside against regs to send eggs hummm will see what i can find out Opa fo you and for Kathy Highlander i'll see what i can get for free if its over 4 you can have the extra's if you want i only want 4 i only have a tiny Bator that im using at the moment look

i have 10 in at the moment but i wouldnt want to crowd the Orps as they are only silkie/frizzle and sizzle eggs they are small could fit about 15 in but i have 4 in and 6 salmon faverolles i have added today so as you see my tiny bator is good but tiny i'll see what he is willing to let me have-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

well everyones been so nice so may as well see if we can get a nice breeding flock in the us that would be a good way to get it started with you we all know how you love to hatch but dont worry ive gotta see if its possible first and wait for Kate to come home for a visit so it wont mess up your 5 months no hatching as i dont think she will be coming back till a little later this year when she has a holiday break from collage

and i must say they have become extremely strict in the uk airports they had to check all my inhalers and made me take each one before they let me fly lastime

i wouldnt have minded but they taste awrful and i already have to take them 3 times a day never mind extra just to please them
