The Old Folks Home

Got the preliminary results of my MRI. Nothing I didnt expect Degenerative cervical disc disease. Also narrowing foramen which explains the pain and nerve involvement. I'll know more on Monday. The nurse I talked to is going to talk to my primary care doc and call me back with more details. I've been a pain in the neck for ages now I have proof!

Oh well lie DH just said. I'm still me so oh blah dee oh blah da. We shall see what happens next.
I hope you can get some relief!

Thank @CapricornFarm @penny1960 and @ronott1. I'm hoping they will try conservative treatments before they drag out the blunt rusty needles. Looks like I'm in for the Long haul with it, tho. I was hoping for something simple like a herniated disc. But like Tina Turner said in Proud Mary I ain't never done anything nice and easy....or something like that.:lau

My cousin has power now. :wee The guy working on the power equipment is sub-contracted by the electric company. He mentioned something about how he was putting things in, and getting them all set to go, even though he wasn't suppose to, until after the inspection. He mentioned that he was afraid that if he didn't, the inspector would demand a new county permit. Of course it was too late to get one today, and it would be at least Monday for the permit, and Tuesday before the inspector would come back. My cousin had a meltdown. When she calmed down, we had a discussion about other options. We had a loose game plan.

When the park manager heard it, she called the park owner. The park owner blew a gasket. I don't know who the park owner knows at the power company, but not long after that, the inspector, and a genuine power company employee showed up, signed off on the inspection, hooked everything up, and she has power. It took less than 2 hours. Hallelujah!!!!

bruce, My aunt, and cousin have lived in that trailer park over 35 years in the same spot. When their first trailer got to be a money pit, my aunt, and cousin bought a new trailer, and put it in there. The owner used to live there in the park until he retired about 4 years ago. I don't know who he knows, but he got some fast action.

micro, I suspect the next thing they're going to suggest is physical therapy.
I hope they do. Right now they are saying something about radio frequency ablation which I'm not in favor of until things worsen. I'd like to keep the big guns holstered as long as possible.
