Thanks, Ron! I laid about until 11 this morning, and then I was able to go up the stairs without exhaustion! I need to run an errand, then I'm going to let the chickies out. They've forgotten what it is to go outside! Poor girls.

Oh yes, that was yesterday. I was very tired, and I also started coughing again. Hadn't been coughing since I left the hospital. It was worrisome, but I thought it had to do with being tired. No coughing today.

In sepsis, the infection spreads to your organs. It got my liver and my lungs. And my brain, it seemed. But I'm getting smarter again!

Hi all -

I’ve been missing in action trying to recover from my battle with anaplasmosis and sepsis. I’ve been out of the hospital for 10 days and still very weak. Went to my doc yesterday and had to hang around for the blood test, and had to eat something before I went home. It took forever, and I guess I paid for it today - so tired!

Enough complaining!

1 - prayers. Maybe someone can say that they heard the prayers were making some folks uncomfortable, and suggest a moment of silence instead. I would dislike this practice because it seems to make an assumption about me, that I would then feel uncomfortable about denying. It imposes on me an obligation to act as though it’s my religion or break the group’s tacit acceptance of it.

I love to pray in church. There’s an agreement among all of this that we come together for this reason, and we each pray in our own way.

2 - don’t discount little dogs! My 6-lb. Chihuahua is the most loyal, affectionate, funny dog I’ve ever met. He just turned 18 and we love him to death. He acts like he has attitude but then he melts your heart!

Oh my goodness! Glad you are home.... prayers for you!

Thanks Penny and Cynthia. They are both king sized quilts. I'll probably be working on them when I'm 70....or older....

Please take care of yourself it was Sepsis that took Ma miss diagnosed then left to kill her
by the time a decent Dr was called in it was too late
