The Old Folks Home

I know Fish-Mox is often recommended. Does anyone know if fish antibiotics are likely to be part of the ban?

I'm lucky that my vet will at least consider seeing a chicken. She has minimal avian experience, but is open to it. But the costs!

You know what isn't even fair? Vets don't earn all that much money. I know two, and they drive unexceptional cars, worry about bills, and live a fairly modest lifestyle. If insurance didn't pay our medical bills, we would all be bankrupt.

They're saying they want to ban fish antibiotics too. I can see why. They're the same ones made for people too, just put into different packaging. I suspect it's more about controlling what people have access to, than the animals.
So just let the animals drop dead because people can't find or afford vets to treat their birds or fish.
