I hope everyone wakes up feeling much better tomorrow.

I had a physical today, supposed to go back on the Simvastatin. I stopped a couple of months ago because I wanted to find out if I REALLY need it or if I'm just borderline. Bloodwork says I've got an 11% increased chance of heart attack so back to the pills.

Also got the first of the 2 shingles vaccines. I had to go to the pharmacy at the grocery store because they didn't have any at the doctors' office. And it is part of the hospital, not like 1 or 2 doctors in a small practice! Now I have to wait 2-6 months and remember to get the second round. I put an entry in my calendar.
 
Seems just as easy at the drugstore. I was going to the grocery store after my physical anyway so it wasn't any extra effort. Insurance paid for it.

If you haven't had shingles and did have chicken pox, I highly suggest you get the vaccine. Absolutely the worst pain I've had in my life, it was about 10 years ago and I wasn't even old enough for the original vaccine. Guess I'm "special" getting shingles before I was "old enough" to get it. Then of course the nasty little virus heads back into your spine just waiting to waylay you again in the future.

It is on my list to get that one too!

I do not know if I could get the vaccine at the drugstore with my current insurance. We could not get the flu vaccine at CVS last fall
