The Old Folks Home

And there is a car there somewhere, @Alaskan! I'm sure I can see the hood somewhere...

Oh man that is one boat load of snow! we had about 8 inches being our biggest show this year, laughable amount when compared to your back and front yard. It melted, things started drying out finally only to have rain and snow move in. Two inches of snow only which melted pretty fast but now we are dealing with that wonderful season between winter and summer called mudvember. And the spring rains haven't started yet.

Still, I'm looking forward to a good old fashion thunderstorm. without the threat of tornadoes of course.

@Perris, welcome to the old folks home! Same to you @blackandtan!

When I go to visit my Mom in Shingletown California, I can see Mt. Lassen

Oh, Pretty, Ron. I bet your mom enjoys that. Once again how cool to look out your window or door and see snow capped mountains.

The St Francois mountain range down by St Louis is the closest to us besides the Ozarks. Can't see any of them without jumping in the car and driving for 3+ hours at least.

Hi @sourland.

Hi @sourland.
A long time ago I was working on the Safeway in Redding and walked out of the back door and the mountains were right there! It was a very awe inspiring thing to see

Your camera is too close. It’s not instant from triggering to picture so you need enough space that the critter can trigger the pic and still be in the pic when it’s taken. Also trigger speed is worse when it’s cold out :)
No, there is something funky with the camera. It was in the same place as before when I had several videos of the rats and the sparrows. It is about 6' from the "target area" where the box with the trap sits. And it was just around freezing last night, warmer than it was a few days back. It isn't a very old camera only about a 2 years old.
