Good morning old folks. Don't you mean 'a day over 16' ? Mom said, "Getting old is no sin, but acting old is." Anyway last night I mentioned to the Princess that I had told y'all that I am approaching 80. She shook her head, and said, "You are only going to be 79. Why do you always make yourself a year older?"

Maybe because we are alive for 9 months before we are born?

I like to say I'm 30 with almost 37 years of experience.

Do you guys realize how special this thread is? I wander around sometimes and try other things but everyone here is just so blamed nice! They are also on the Coffee Club. Maybe it's our age, our generation, idunno but nothing matches the old folks home.

Night @Perris. Pleasant dreams.

DH is making a critter food run tomorrow. Dog food, Cat food, Chicken food. They are stocked they told me at the MFA. I'm calling them in the morning, giving them our order, they are going to have it on the loading dock for DH when he gets there, hands them a check, they load, home. They know we are both immunologically challenged and are super nice people.

I'm not nearly as worried of getting this crud as I am running out of food for the animals and ourselves. With talk of this being around until July or August....Oh man I hope not, I don't think there is such a thing as being too prepared.

@ronott1. How are things where you are? I've been watching the numbers where I know my BYC friends live, east coast, North East, Florida, Washington state, California....and saying prayers for all of us.

It is getting bad in Santa Clara where my Oldest DD lives. The Store she shops at, Safeway did not have any eggs. Her Father in Law is trying to go to Smart and Final to get her the normal 5dz pack she normally gets.

Obviously she gets her love of eggs from me. When she was growing up, I bought 5 dz packs all the time too LOL!

Good morning everyone from Macon county Missouri!

Everyone is fine here this morning.

ARRL, the big organization/membership club for HAM operators for want of a better way to explain it, made a suggestion yesterday for Net controllers. Usually nets are semi-formal get togethers where HAMS check in to discuss weather, traffic, radios, propagation etc. Our local club has three a week, one for emergency response, one just to check in and test your radios for propagation and a bigger Saturday Net where we discuss a subject connected with radio operation.

They suggested that the net controllers (my husband is one) use the opportunity to have everyone who can, check in and give a health report. If somebody checks in and says they are sick, advise them to get help and how to get help.

It's hard to do that here on BYC but we are a pretty close knit group, at least among those of us who have been here for any length of time.

Maybe we could just check in here at the home once a day. You don't have to make a lengthy post,.like I do..LOL...but just check in, say hopefully that you are fine (or God forbid, not) and go on from there.

Just an idea to throw out there for consideration.
