Morning people. Thought I had won the battle of the wasps that keep coming in and making nests between the storm windows. Nope 3 big fresh ones crawling around in there today.If it wasn't second floor windows, I'd be all over them with sevin powder, kills them fast. Don't ever use around honey bees.

I read an article that said honey bees did well last winter with a lower death rate.

My birthday is always miserably hot. All I ever want to do is sit in the AC. Will be different this year. DH usually takes me out to eat and I get my once a year favorite meal, fried chicken with all the fixins. This year I will cook my own fried chicken...and sit in the AC.

@bruceha2000, yeah, it was good that one of us held it together. Seeing my finger pulped was a real shocker.

My fayoumi hen is still with me. I dosed her with a broad spectrum antibiotic and used Ivermectin Drops on her for parasite control. Tomorrow I will use safe guard on her. I think one of the problems is that she is a favorite of the boys so much so that she is not eating. I put the little horndogs in the spare coop and run. That left me with the two wild roosters who only want to fight with the other roosters and beat the dirt out of them. I don't need that aggravation and neither does the birds that get along. They are in the yard right now unhappy but better unhappy than in the freezer.

My brother's B-day was yesterday June 24. He's the baby of our litter. Our sister is 12-27 and the oldest. I am the middle kid. 7-7

My Father was Oct.17, my mother June 20, My grandma(mom's side) Dec.25

Thought I was going to the grocery store this morning. When I called to ask when the bus was coming the dispatcher - said I wasn't on the list. The deal is you have to call the day before. I DID, called when the office opened at 8 am. Wednesday. I'm sure he knows NO XMAS present for him this year.

I can't imagine why you would give that man a gift for ANY reason! Seems quite distant from the purpose of his job - SERVING THE CLIENTS!

I hate spiders! I will jump out of a running car or what ever to get away from one! And I did!

My ex husband lost all but 3 fingers when a blow mold injection machine he was repairing closed with out warning while his fingers were inside. It crushed them flat.
They tried to save them. Then took the first half then after a year they had to take the whole fingers. He has two thumbs and one finger left.
He had to retire.

My birthday was the 23rd. It was pretty warm here. lol Summers in the deep south!
Go figure!
