That is very true!My problems don't seem too bad now, compared to that!![]()
My Middle DD had a situation similar to Your Son during pregnancy where the baby was not getting nutrition. She lives in Finland which has the worlds lowest C section rate and not the US that has the highest so the baby was delivered normally and the baby is doing fine! She is 4 years old now!Cap congrats on your sales at the swap yesterday!
Sounds like ya'll are great parents! Raising some fantastic kids.
My youngest son and his wife are having a baby soon. It's his first child and her second.
She has been retaining to much fluid. He Dr. sent her to a specialist. He found that the baby
has what they called a double bubble stomach. So the baby cannot properly digest his food.
Causing the excess fluid build up. They said the baby is 2 weeks ahead of development so if they have to deliver before Aug due date the baby will be fine.
This is my son that had so many disabilities. His ped Dr said it was due to our Mediterranean blood and dna. I have tried to get him to talk to the OBGYN about it, but he keeps refusing. He said he will bring it up to the PED Dr. after the baby is born.
And my youngest DD has had a re-accruing infection that she has been going to the Dr. for.
For several years. They have given her antibiotics and lanced it at different times.
Well this time it hit much worse than before. They had to due surgery. It was in her breast and behind all the dense tissue. They had to cut a hole 2" and it went to her rib cage. They kept her in the hospital for 2 day's and put in a drain tube. And put her on IV antibiotics. They had to pack the wound twice a day and give her IV antibiotics twice a day when the wound was packed for two weeks. She said the Dr thinks it was MERSA. But they could not be sure due to the fact her GP had given her antibiotics the week before her surgery.
But she had to go to the CDC clinic every day to have the treatments.
The surgeon took her off the antibiotics Friday. But they left the pick line in just in case she might need more treatment. They told her if all looked good come Friday they would take the pick line out. She did lose part of her woman hood. But my sister suggested she might like a survivors tattoo so she would have some added beauty instead of being reminded of her ordeal. I loved the idea and shared some beautiful works of art with her. She also loved the idea.
Some how this infection she had started with a sore she got from shaving her arm pits several years ago. But just kept coming back.![]()

only the first 50?...?![]()
This is extremely helpful, thank you!!! I definitely do need to work on all of this!!! I’ve been taking a multivitamin and a couple others for a little while now (like at least the last 6-9 months or so) and I do like those and I’ve been trying to exercise lately; I got a Fitbit last month that has helped, but I definitely don’t do most of this. I’ve been staying up way too late then sleeping in super late, etc. There are lots of potential drugs out there, and they each work a bit differently.
Also, it helps if you have an observer because you won't always be fully aware of how the drug is affecting you.
My eldest goes to a great doctor, who gave him a full evaluation first, especially on his heart. (Since this group of drugs can increase your blood pressure).
Then we tried drug 1, first at lowest dose for a month, saw the doc, then increased a little... next month saw doc again, increased a little, wait a month, etc.
At the 3rd level of drug 1, it was clear it wasn't for him. It made him look more alert, so he "presented" better to others, but it did not help at all with learning or staying on track.
We then switched to drug 2... and did the same routine of monthly checkups and dose increases... drug 2 didn't help him stay alert, but helped him stay on track and learn better.
Over the months we found a dose and combo that worked for him.
But it really needed both my kid and me observing.
BUT, there are LOTS of kinds of different things that can help for people with ADD/ADHD, not just drugs.
AND, even with drugs, they do not change who you are, you still need to utilize all of the coping skills.
Lots of websites for you to find, lots of help out there, but in short:
- very regular schedule especially sleep and wake up time, minimum of 8 hours every night
- exercise regularly. Morning exercise is most important, but throughout the day is excellent (like 50 jumping jacks every hour)
- good food, high in vitamins
- COMPENSATE! So, clear schedule posted for you to look at throughout the day, all important things and times set as alarms on your phone, take notes, make lists
- no more electronics an hour before time to sleep.
I keep praying NOT!!!!
Only kid with a good job is the 16 year old!
I think in another 10 years maybe...![]()
