With all the rain, I noticed some areas that I thought were ant hills, that were being built higher than the water level. Dh went to put ant killer, and that's not what it was. When the lightning struck the pole out there, it hit the ground, and burrowed the whole distance, traveling alongside the ethernet wire, and came up just before it hit the house. After seeing that, we were blessed.
