The Old Folks Home

I vacuum as far as I can reach under our bed (king) with the regular vacuum. The cats (2) sleep under our bed. I was looking for something, and grabbed a flashlight, and looked under the bed. I was shocked. A LOT of hair had accumulated under the center, where I couldn't reach. I have a smaller wand type vacuum, that lays almost flat, and has a large extension wand. I got enough hair out from under there, that I could have built 8 cats. Now that I'm aware, I'll have to do that more often.

Beer Can, My middle daughter was actually allergic to milk too. Not just intolerant, which is usually the case. It took years, but she can now tolerate a bit of dairy, on occasion.
Has she tried goat milk? As Beer said, it is more easily tolerated by some.

When I meet my son's fee -on -say, am I supposed to shake hands with her or hug her, or something? I am lacking social skills. With my LONG white hair, I look like Grandma ma from the Munster's old show. Hope I don't frighten her.
Personally I wouldn't get closer than 6' from her given the 40% asymptomatic Covid carriers.

DW's sister came from VA to visit, stayed a month. We never got closer to her than 6', her with a mask on in the house until she'd been here 2 weeks and got her negative test result. She pitched her tent on the back deck, definitely "glamping" with the bathroom door right next to her tent flap. We ate on the deck, upwind of where she sat at least 6' away. She spent most of her time outside (good weather fortunately). After the test she was able to go visit her parents in the retirement community on the allowed M-W-F days and no more masks or "distancing" at our house.

This is a person we trust implicitly and had no reason to think she was a carrier when she arrived. But she was taking no chances. How well do you know the Fee-on-say??

The refrigerator has coils on the bottom that get clogged up with cat hair. I have to remember to clean it out every couple of months
