Dogs up early, thus so am I.
Rain coming tonight -- I can feel the chill already -- so decided to vacuum the yards with the lawn tractor -- set on the highest height, it sucks the leaves right up -- which then fortified the compost pile with chopped leaves Kind of a wasted effort to get all tidy as the storm is expected to have 30-50 mph winds, so more earthbound leaves on the way. Still, don't want the neighbors grousing that all MY leaves are in their yard...Nevermind that I end up with a fair share of their leaves in mine.
Crows are in the pecan tree and littering all over the front yard.
Planted the garlic yesterday, two beds' worth.
DH is pulling up the cornstalks.
Chickens not laying, so on autopilot with their feeder and waterers.
Off to watch the Breeders Cup races on TV. Love those ponies!

Got all the chickens done with their second worming. It was time, and we have an approaching hurricane.

I finished the grocery shopping and did not have to ice my knee!

I expect the cortisone injection will wear off but for now what a relief!
