We have rains for the next two months not all day but every day ... Winter in SW Washington

Yup here in Oregon too. And wind! The last several years it seem like we get more and more wind.

We had great winds last night early they ahere calling 60 miles an hour gusts..
Now that is wind.

Our forecast yesterday was for wind at 43 mph not even gusts! Thankfully it seemed to actually be gusts and not sustained, but it was a dark and stormy day for sure!

We are at the La nina line so may not get as much rain as normal

Santa Ana winds are only in the southern part of the State.

California is a long narrow state with a lot of climates

It is windy here today, too! It is out of the south so warming us up a bit today and tomorrow.

First thought wish for a million dollars, split second decision I decided world peace was much more important so wished for that. If I had millions of dollars that would still be my wish, world peace.

Kinda looks at me funny, our older girls call me a idiot...

But they said it lovingly while recognizing the futility of that wish.

BUT it did nix DH's 70th birthday dinner out at his favorite restaurant, so he's pretty bummed.

That does suck. DW and I are in a similar situation, 30th anniversary in 2 weeks. Maybe I'll make the rib roast I got from the Farmer's Market.

I dug a 14x14 fish pond in FL that was 3 feet deep on one end!

Probably a lot easier in the Florida sand that it would be elsewhere. Still a lot of work though.
