Nobody is stopping anyone from wearing a mask, if they so desire. Unfortunately, they don't work very well, especially against Covid. That's the science. Many of the same epidemiologists, and virolgists that have worked with, for, and/or been consultants for the CDC have gone, not once, but twice before the senate, and stated this. The same people that advise the CDC on these things, were called into the senate, and questioned, before it was decided to do a soft open, and open the country back up.

More recently, they were questioned about masks, because of mask mandates. The evidence is that most of the masks used by the public, offer little to no protection at all. For those that do wear the correct type mask, and it's fitted properly, there is a potential for some protection, BUT their are other factors to consider other than just wearing the mask.

One of the more critical factors regarding potential of protection, is area times crowd. The larger the area, with the fewest people, reduces potential contamination, thus the mask may offer a bit better degree of protection. Going into a packed store, regardless of social distancing, increases contamination, thus reducing the effectiveness of masks.

Think about this: The protocols for the CDC, when encountering a deadly virus, or working with a new virus that has the potential of being deadly, is a full face, sealed to the face, respirator mask, that they either plug into oxygen, or use special canister filters that will even filter viruses. The reason for this is that no other type mask will provide the required protection. As to protecting others, coughing or sneezing into a full face mask, that's been properly sealed to the face, won't let anything out. That protects the people, air, and anything around them. That's the science, like it or not.

Is anyone watching the new tv program called NeXt?

My cousin told me about it. I started watching it too. Last week when I talked to her, she had finally watched episode 3. Needless to say, her Alexa, and Google Nest Smart Hub are now unplugged, and residing in her hall closet. She's a trip....

I see Dh has ordered more cables for our computers. After he had a cable failure, he was reading up on it, and changed out all of his, then ordered enough for me to change all of mine out too. I don't know if I'll get to it today, or not.

I've got to go to the DMV this afternoon, pick up feed on the way back home, and start all the preps for Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow. I'll get a lot of it done tonight, so I don't have as much to do tomorrow. All that, and I still have to wash all our dishes by hand. I don't mind, but it's time, and energy consuming.
