Frankly I'm not holding out much hope for 2021 to be much different than 2020. But all I need is a mustard seed of faith and hopefully we will at least survive it. I got that mustard seed and plenty of fertilizer!

Evening old folk. Welcome to all newcomers to the home where like a pot of stew, we are all better thanks to our seasoning!

I baked today. Bread and banana bread. Took up most of the morning and into the afternoon. Got two shipments from Wally World and Amazon Prime that had to be unpacked and put away.

I have to say that having non perishables delivered tot he gate has spoiled me. DH asked me if I was going to go back to shopping in person once the pandemic was over and I told him no. Never liked it before the pandemic. It was a necessary evil and doing the pickup of a grocery order at the HyVee in Kirksville and ordering on line at Walmart and Amazon Prime Pantry has spoiled me.

Y'all gettin in the Christmas spirit?

The friends that warm our hearts..our precious families! Not everybody can celebrate with their family members this year, let us be prayerful for them. But still, let's embrace that Christmas spirit!

Her mom, looking like a deer caught in headlights, blinked a couple times, then I could almost see the light bulb go on above her head. "Do you mean a black widow?" "YES, that's it", she squealed. Yes, my pathway lights going to the front door are red, and green. You can also see the star back on the coop. Yes, I'm riding around on our John Deere to take these.

It's not the most impressive display, but it DOES take time to buy enough lights, and decorations for 2.5 acres, unless you're rich. Not too shabby though.
